"One of the best Lontong(compressed rice cakes, usually served as an accompaniment stew or as a side dish with peanut-based sauces, also refers to a dish of vegetable stew in coconut curry, known as sayur lodeh). The trade mark for this restaurant, "queue for breakfast"."

"Brought my friend here since she came visit me from KL. This is a very authentic Malay cuisine. Ordered lontong Kering Dan nasi lemak ayam goreng. Both are very nice. But the dishes run out very fast by 11am or so already have limited choices. My friend didn't manage to order her favourite sambal sotong. Worth the visit indeed. 2 pax for around RM 15"

"My fav spot for lontong- you can have kuah or kering version. I prefer kuah so only tried that and it is just so sedap! They also have mee siam, which is also good and wide variety of lauk to choose to add to your order. Service is friendly and fast, which is good since they do get super busy. Parking can be scarce but they have someone helping us find a spot and its not a big deal. Oh leave room for desert, they have a variety of kuih too."

"Superb breakfast place in JB - one of my recommendation for my out-of-town friends whenever they come by. This cafe is also known as “warung sebelah rumah MB” or “the stall beside the Menteri Besar’s residence”. There are limited tables, so do come early if you want to dine in. Parking can be haphazard as there are no clear designated parking areas - it’s behind the stall, but limited space. Normally people just park by the roadside (at the bus stop), or along the road towards the Saujana (MB’s residence). Do try their Lontong Kering (my favourite), or their Nasi Lemak."
